It's been 8 weeks since I ordered the
service. Why can't I find my site in the search
engines?
The most likely reason that you cannot find your
site is that it has a low ranking in the search
results. This may be because your site is not
optimized for the keywords you entered. It is also
possible that the search engine's "spider" has not
yet visited your site and this is also adversely
affecting the ranking and making it difficult to
locate the site in the search results.
The easiest way to determine the status of your
site in a search engine is to enter the full URL
provided with your submission order. For example,
enter www.your-domain-name.com in the
search box of Google (www.google.com) or
MSN (www.msn.com) and carefully watch the
search results:
- If your site has not been indexed yet, it
will not be displayed in the search
results.
- If your site is indexed, but has not been
crawled yet, you will see it in the search
results, but without any Title or Description.
This is a temporary state till the nearest
scheduled crawling cycle of the search
engine.
- If your site is indexed and crawled, it will
show up in the search results with Title and
Description.
What is a meta tag?
A meta tag (or tag) tells the search engine what
your site is about. Some of the major search
engines will review your site and read your meta
tags to determine categories for your site. Meta
tags tell the search engine your site's title,
description and keywords. Without these tags, it's
difficult for your site to achieve a high ranking
on many of the major search engines.
What meta tags should I add to my web site?
1. Title: The title is one of the most important
parts of your site to evaluate, as it is the most
frequently searched component by search engines. It
should state exactly what your site is about and
include your most important keywords. A good Title
is one that briefly describes the site in up to 15
words.
2. Keywords: The Meta Tag Keywords should be those
words or phrases that you think people will use
when trying to look for a site like yours on search
engines. The right keywords for your web site
should be specific enough to describe your web
site's focus, yet general enough for potential
customers to use as search criteria with search
engines. The effective number of keywords is 25.
Each keyword should be composed of one to 4
words.
3. Description: Your web site description should
be a summary of the content of your site. This
description should contain some of the keywords and
should avoid marketing jargon. A good Description
is composed of a few sentences that best describe
the site (up to a maximum of 40 words).
Where do I place the meta tags?
The meta tags should be inserted between the
<HEAD> and </HEAD> tags of your
document.
Below is an example of how to format meta tags and
where to place them:
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Your Site Title goes
here</TITLE>
<META name="keywords" content="Your keywords
go here, separated by a comma">
<META name="description" content="Your site
description goes here">
</HEAD>
<BODY>
.. Page content is placed here ..
</BODY>
</HTML>
What is “Account activation” and how
do I activate my account?
Orders received without a Title, Description,
Keywords or Category are considered “not
activated”. “Not Activated”
orders are not being processed in order to avoid
submitting uncompleted websites or sites that are
under construction, which could lead to bad
positioning in the search engines.
To activate a non activated account, you should
first make sure that the website is fully
functional and then login to the submission control
panel and hit the “Activate Account”
button.
What is the schedule of the reports and what
does the “in process” status in the
control panel mean?
The “in process” status means that
your order is being processed:
Ranking “in process” – Your
ranking performance report is being processed. The
ranking report is sent up to 6 business days within
purchase of the Super or Extreme plans.
Keywords “in process” – Our
search marketing team is reviewing your website and
in the process of finding the best keywords for
your website. Keywords research report is sent 6
business days within purchase of the Super or
Extreme plans.
Optimization “in process” -
Optimization report is sent a couple of days after
you updated the recommended keywords, notified us
and we confirmed that the keywords are correctly
updated.

Keywords
researchÝ
The most important task of search engine
optimization, and by far the trickiest and
the hardest to accomplish one, is finding
the right keywords (search phrases). With
this plan, our marketing professionals
will review your website and will come up
with a list of keywords that are the most
effective for your website. Each of the
keywords is chosen very carefully using
the following procedure:
|
|
|
Targeting
- The keyword must reflect your exact
product and service offerings, your
geographical availability and your desired
audience, so that it will drive to your
website such customers that you will be
able covert into buyers.
|
|
|
Popularity
- The keyword must be used by search
engines users, as there is no point in
using a keyword that nobody is searching
for. We will actually provide you with the
exact numbers of how many times people
searched for your keywords and their
variations last month in the top search
engines!
|
|
|
Competition
- The keyword must pass our competitive
analysis test, which includes a
competitive analysis on each specific
keyword in conjunction with your website
and your competitors' websites. Our
marketing professional run this test using
our unique innovative technology.

performanceÝ

of how your website performs in the top
search engines. We will crawl 100 results
within each of the search engines, for
each of your keywords, saving you hours of
work.
The ranking report will provide the
following information about your site:
|
|
|
Ranking Position
- This is the first position found for the
website according to the selected keyword,
and the most likely to be clicked by the
user.
|
|
|
Ranking Page Number
- As search engines display different
amounts of results when a search is
performed, we display the page number that
the first result is found on. You may be
number 35 on Yahoo, but that is still on
the second result page, not the
fourth.
|
|
|
URL Count
- This is the number of times the search
engine finds a listing for your website
within its indices. For some engines, the
more times you are listed, the better your
chances of showing well.
|
|
|
Link popularity
Link popularity is a display of the number
of times the search engine has a reference
of other websites linking to yours. This
can have an impact on your position in
some search engines. When other websites
list a link to yours, some engines find
that to mean your site is more valuable
and increase the possibility of you
showing well. For those engines that
provide this information, the higher the
number the better.
