Guest Book is a free CGI script which you can
install onto your account via the CGI
Scripts page. The script allows visitors to
your site to leave their name, email address and
some comments about your site.
Accessing Guest Book
The guest book and related data file reside in the
cgi-bin directory of your web space. The guest book
can be accessed at http://www.test-=domain.com/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl.
To allow your visitors to view and post to your
guest book just make a hyperlink in your page to
this URL.
Managing Guest Book
To remove messages from your guest book you must
edit the file /cgi-bin/guestbook.dat within your
web space. Be sure to remove every line relating to
each message that you delete. We suggest that you
make a backup of this file before making any
modifications.
